The MVP Checklist
You don't need AAA compliance on day one. But you must not block users.
- Keyboard Traps: Can I tab through everything without getting stuck?
- Headings: Do pages have one H1?
- Forms: Do all inputs have visual labels?
- Contrast: Is text readable (check brand colors)?
- Images: Does the logo and actionable icons have alt text?
- Page Title: Does the tab title describe the page?
- Auto-play: Does video/audio start automatically? (Don't do it).
Fixing these 7 items resolves 80% of critical barriers for an initial launch.
